The Crossroads is a twelve-month story told through comics. The first panel will be released on June 1, 2026. This website is a space for Maxine, its creator, to share her work-in-progress with friends and anyone curious about how the project is taking shape before the full release in June.

Everyone is welcome here—but fair warning, there will be spoilers. If you’d rather experience the story later as a polished, finished work, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you’d like to follow the messy, creative, and occasionally chaotic journey as Maxine works to bring it to life, then you’re exactly where you should be.
